The vigil at the Newark Penn Station was highly rewarding and worth while. Taking into consideration, that we had a cold driving rain, the turnout, of ten people, was more than expected.
The response from the rush-hour pedestrians and auto traffic was positive except a couple of guys, in BMW’s, who looked disgusted. One active GI said “it sucks over their” and that he had been stop-lost once already. Many of those that were diving by “honked for peace” and gave the thumbs up sign.
