Hosted by Greater Lansing Network Against War & Injustice

Event Description:

Join us in East Lansing as we Stand for Peace -

5 Years of War is 5 Years Too Many.

End the war and occupation of Iraq.
Bring the troops home now.
Provide decent medical care for those injured by war.
No war on Iran.
No more wars.
Fund schools and health care, not wars.
Build communities, not Halliburton or KBR.
Stop war profiteering.

Protest 5 years of war and occupation.

Join us as we Stand for Peace - on the median of Grand River Avenue at Abbot Road in East Lansing.

All are welcome to protest five years of war and occupation of Iraq. This war has devastated Iraq, the American economy, and America's reputation in the world.

This war began March 19, 2003, in spite of massive world-wide demonstrations proclaiming: "The World Says No to War!"

Five years later, the world still says no to war. Mid-Michigan says no to war.

Please join us as we say no to war - and stand for peace.

Dress for the weather - and bring your friends. Numbers strengthen our voices.
