March Against the War!
Saturday, March 15, 2008, 5pm

There will be a permitted street march through Waikiki on Saturday evening, March 15.

Gather in the front of the Honolulu Zoo (Kalakaua/Kapahulu) by 5:15 pm. The march will begin on the corner of Kuhio/Kapahulu and will go ewa on Kuhio to Lewers, from Lewers to Kalakaua, and then Diamond Head on Kalakaua back to the Zoo. There will be a trolley for those who can't walk the route. Everyone who wants an end to the war on Iraq is invited.

Help make this the strongest, largest anti-war march Honolulu has ever seen! Here's what you can do:

* Begin organizing your peace and justice group, club, school, religious group or ohana to march as a group. Carry your own banners and signs. Make your own leaflets.

* Ask your organization to co-sponsor the march and let us know right away.

* Poster and leaflet. Make announcements on the radio and TV, in your classroom, your workplace and churches. You can use World Can't Wait's centrally produced posters and leaflets. Or produce your own.
