Merrimack Valley People for Peace, Inc., founded in 1984, works for a sustainable future for all life on our planet. Our members commit themselves to the interrelated activities of education for peace and justice, the prevention of war, an end to arms sales, the abolition of nuclear weapons, and protection of the environment. We have held vigils at this location several times weekly since the eve of the Iraq invasion in March 2003.
